Simply click on '<u>N</u>ext >' to continue.</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_startup.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="597" height="428"/> <p>Next, you will be asked if you would like to configure an E-mail account. Make sure that '<u>Y</u>es' is selected, and then click on '<u>N</u>ext >' </p><img src="images/outlook2002_account_configuration.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="598" height="427"/> <p>The server type for <b><i>BBS 42</i></b> is <u>P</u>OP 3. Select this option and then click on <u>N</u>ext.</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_server_type.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="598" height="427"/> <p>The wizard will now ask for you to enter your information.<br/> Under 'your name' you type in what you want to be displayed as when you send emails. Your email address is <i>username</i>@albedo.net. The mail servers are both <i>mail.albedo.net</i> The logon information are the username and passwords you signed up with. Click on 'More Settings ...' to see more advanced options. When you are finished click on '<u>N</u>ext'</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_e-mail_settings.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="561" height="384"/> <p>Under the 'general' tab, you can type in the name of the account. It will default to 'mail.albedo.net' -- you can change it to something more recognizable. Do not put a reply e-mail in unless you wish for people to send replies to your emails to another address.</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_settings_general.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="367" height="451"/> <p>You should never need to change anything under the outgoing server tab. We do not require authentication.</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_settings_outgoing_server.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="367" height="451"/> <p>You should connect using your phone line, dialing in to BBS 42 (or whatever you have named your dial-up connection)</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_setttings_connection.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="366" height="451"/> <p>You should not need to change the settings in this tab. The defaults should be correct.</p> <img src="images/outlook2002_settings_advanced.jpg" alt="" border="0" width="367" height="448"/> <p>Once you are satisfied with all of your settings, lick on 'OK' and then '<u>N</u>ext' on the email accounts window. It will take you to this screen.
